The Service is freely accessible to any user with an Internet connection. The Publisher endeavors to maintain the Service available 24/7 but does not guarantee permanent availability.
The Publisher reserves the right to suspend, interrupt, or limit access to all or part of the Service, notably for maintenance, updates, or any other reason, without prior notice or compensation.
Access to certain features (project saving, purchases) requires creating an account. Registration is done via a magic link sent to the email address provided by the user.
The user is responsible for the security of their email address and all access to their account. The user agrees to immediately inform the Publisher of any unauthorized use of their account.
The user may request account deletion at any time by contacting contact@staireditor.com. Deletion results in the permanent erasure of personal data and saved projects.
The Service, its content (text, graphics, software, algorithms, interface), and its structure are protected by copyright and intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, modification, or exploitation is prohibited.
Staircase designs created by the user through the Service belong to the user. The Publisher claims no ownership rights over user projects.
The user grants the Publisher a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process their projects solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
The user agrees to use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. The following are specifically prohibited:
StairEditor is a design assistance tool. It does not constitute architectural, structural engineering, or construction advice of any kind.
All calculations, measurements, plans, and information provided by the Service are given for indicative purposes only and are provided on an "as is" basis, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied.
The user is solely responsible for verifying all calculations, measurements, and plans generated by the Service before any use, in particular before any construction.

The Publisher accepts no liability for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of calculations, plans, or information provided by the Service, including but not limited to:
In no event shall the Publisher's liability exceed the total amount actually paid by the user during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
The Publisher shall not be held liable in cases of force majeure or events beyond its control.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites. The Publisher has no control over the content of these sites and accepts no responsibility for their content.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication on the Website. Continued use of the Service after publication of modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
In the event of a substantial modification, the Publisher will endeavor to inform users with an account by email.
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, and after an attempted amicable resolution, consumer users may use the free consumer mediation service in accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The competent mediator will be provided upon request at contact@staireditor.com.
Failing amicable resolution, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
