Terms of Sale

1. Purpose

These Terms of Sale (hereinafter "Terms of Sale") govern the sales of digital services offered on staireditor.com (hereinafter "the Website"), published by Georges Cosson, sole proprietor, SIRET 985 355 197 00023 (hereinafter "the Seller").

Any order implies full acceptance of these Terms of Sale.

2.2 Plan Features

Free : All staircase types, 2D views (top, side, isometric), Blondel optimization, comfort score, unit switching. Exact measurements are preview-only.

DIY Pass : Everything in Free, plus: unlocked exact technical measurements, PDF export (construction plan), cut list.

Pro (Monthly or Annual) : Everything in Free, plus: unlocked measurements, PDF export, 3D visualization, and individual step detail plans for straight, quarter-turn, and half-turn stairs. DXF/CAD export, STL/OBJ export, and XLS cut list are planned and marked as coming soon until available.

2.3 Prices

Prices are shown in euros (EUR) or US dollars (USD), inclusive of all taxes. As a micro-entrepreneur, the Seller is not subject to VAT (Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code).

The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Applicable prices are those in effect at the time of order validation.

3. Ordering and Payment

3.1 Order Process

  1. The user selects the desired plan
  2. The user is redirected to the secure Stripe payment page
  3. The user enters their payment information
  4. Payment is processed by Stripe
  5. Access is activated immediately upon payment confirmation

3.2 Payment

Payments are processed exclusively by Stripe. Accepted payment methods are those offered by Stripe (credit card, etc.).

The Seller does not store any banking data on its servers.

3.3 Confirmation

A purchase confirmation is sent by email to the address associated with the user's account.

4. Right of Withdrawal

4.1 Principle

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers have a 14-day period from the date of purchase to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason.

4.2 Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise this right, the user must send a clear statement of their decision to: contact@staireditor.com

The Seller will refund the full amount paid within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal request, using the same payment method as the original transaction.

4.3 Satisfaction Guarantee

Independently of the legal right of withdrawal, the Seller offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. The conditions are identical to those of the right of withdrawal.

5. Subscriptions

5.1 Renewal

Pro Monthly and Pro Annual subscriptions are automatically renewed at each billing period, unless cancelled by the user.

5.2 Cancellation

  • Pro Monthly : Can be cancelled at any time. Access remains active until the end of the current period. No prorated refund.
  • Pro Annual : Can be cancelled at any time. Access remains active until the end of the current annual period. No prorated refund, except if exercising the right of withdrawal within 14 days of the initial purchase.

Cancellation can be done via the Stripe portal or by request at contact@staireditor.com.

5.3 Plan Changes

The Seller reserves the right to modify plan features and prices. Current subscriptions are not affected until their next renewal. Users will be informed at least 30 days before any price change.

6. DIY Pass — Specific Conditions

The DIY Pass provides temporary access for 72 hours from activation. After this period, access to paid features is automatically deactivated.

The DIY Pass does not auto-renew. The user may purchase a new DIY Pass at any time.

7. Service Availability

The Seller endeavors to maintain the Service permanently accessible but does not guarantee availability. In the event of extended downtime affecting a current subscription, the user may contact the Seller to find an appropriate solution.

8. Limitation of Liability

The limitations of liability defined in the Terms of Service apply fully to these Terms of Sale.

In particular, StairEditor is a design assistance tool and not a certified engineering tool. All measurements and calculations must be verified by a qualified professional before any construction.

9. Personal Data

The processing of personal data in connection with purchases is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Dispute Resolution

In accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, in the event of an unresolved dispute, consumers may use the free consumer mediation service. The competent mediator will be provided upon request at contact@staireditor.com.

11. Applicable Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
